Football

Evening lovlies! Phew! What a hot one it's been today! Little one was in paddling pool :)
So hubby came home today with an invite to a 6 year old boys birthday BBQ sat afternoon! Only seen him twice don't know what he's into, so I figured most little boys like football, so tonight's make is a birthday card for Finn!
Surprise surprise! It's an A5 century pearl card base, I embossed white card with m-bossabilities zigzag pattern, used zigzag edgeabilities with insert, to create a boarder and the waste to just create another layer! Using Barbara Gray's glossy card I brayered with Juniper adirondack, then with versamark inked some bubble wrap and randomly pressed on, then brayered over with cloudy blue adirondack, stamped with Stazon, footballer and sentiment which were from a Kanban set, cut and embossed with the smallest Grande nestie and next size up for mat in brown, cut out a 6 using template and ran it through other side of the zigzag folder, voila! Hope it's not too grown up! What do you think? Thank you for taking time to look xxxx

A tag for you

2 pages

Evening my lovelies, well scrapbooking is not really my thing, as your probably guess when you look at these 2 pages, I've actually done 6 pages tonight, these 2 being the better ones, as you all know I am a foster carer, and we have to document their time spent with us, so as a crafter I would rather something a little prettier than a photo album. I find it very emotional doing these MEMORY books! As we're not to call them scrapbooks, as it's a reminder that they will be moving on :( I still have another 6 months worth to do as I've been putting it off. The dies are all spellbinders except for the swirly leaves on top page. Thank you for spending the time to look, I really appreciate it xxx

Ring of Daisy's

Evening guys! Had a stressful day today, not had the chance to craft tonight, so posting a card I made a couple of months ago, which I really love.
Yep you guessed it 8x8 cream base card, the background is cream which I ran through a spellbinders m-bossability folder, not sure I've spelt that right but ho hum lol! I rounded the corners and matted onto black card, the Daisy's are also spellbinders, I cut and embossed 8 of them and inked whilst still in die with mustard seed and marigold distress inks, I also cut off the edges of the Daisy's, the leaves also from same set I inked with lettuce adirondack ink, the label also from same set I inked with same inks as flowers, added some pearls to centre of flowers and swirly pearls to background, a beautiful chiffon wrinkled edge ribbon in champagne, a pretty button and two hat pins, voila! I gave this card to a very dear friend of mine.
Thank you for visiting my blog today xxx

Summertime at the beach

8x8 cream card the image is a Micheal Powell seaside scene stamp which I randomly splodged on Pan Pastels roughly where I thought they needed to go, to get a more random effect, then stamped with black Stazon, I wanted a fishing net but only had some rafia lace so that had to do, to add some deffinition, the background, I embossed some cream card with A4 mask that I think looks a bit like clouds, and whilst still in situ I blended Turquoise, Turquoise tint, Hansa yellow and Diarylide yellow to create a sky and sand kind of effect, then tore some Coredinations paper in blue and sand scrumpled it up, sanded the living daylights out of them just to add some more texture.panpasteluk.blogspot.co.uk

Loving Micheal Powell design stamps

Hello lovelies hope your all good! Mummy won bingo at weekend and treated me so I bought another Micheal Powell seaside themed stamp, just loving his style at present,
A5 shaped card, stamped with black Stazon, coloured in with various Pan Pastels, and no they are not smudges they are meant to be grey clouds lol! Mat and layered onto black then orange then black again nice and simple, took bloody ages to colour in though lol.
Another crimbo card, this is a Sue Wilson style, I've been meaning to try for a while, it's quite complicated but it's worked! 8x8 scalloped edge white card base, I used my minds eye, I believe! Paper pad the die is ironwork motifs spellbinders. Another simple design! Thank you for looking my lovelies xxx

Summertime at the beach

Evening all! I have made this card for the Pan pastels challenge theme being Summertime!
Not one of my prettier cards I know, but I was aiming for a more male orientated one for my brother who's birthday is in Aug!
8x8 cream base card layered with black, the background I embossed cream card with A4 mask which is I think looks like clouds! Whilst still in situ I blended Turquoise tint, turquoise, Hansa yellow and Hansa yellow shade, to create a sky and beach effect, and sprayed with cheap hairspray, I ripped and tore coredinations Vintage collection, flower power papers in blue and sandy colours, scrumpled up and sanded like hell to again create beach scenario and texture, I wanted to have fishing net but only had some Rafia lace lying around so it had to do. The topper, I wanted a more random effect so splodged colours on roughly where design would be and sprayed with cheap hairspray then stamped with black stazon, a Micheal Powell beach hut stamp, then just touched up bunting and trim on boat with a tool and pan pastels, the colours I used on the topper are; Hansa yellow, turquoise tint, turquoise, turquoise shade, orange shade, orange, yellow ochre tint, permanent red and phthalo blue. Then just added some beach themed buttons I had in my button box, I cut the thread holes off the backs. And voila! Please tell me what you think and thank you for stopping by xxx

A Tag and a Crimbo card

Well it's been beautiful sunny weather down here in the South East, hope you've all had good weather too.
The tag was to answer a ? I'd asked earlier about whether a certain technique would work with Pan Pastels, and yes it does! Don't know the name of the technique? But it's where you lay colour down then stamp over it with versamark and lift the colour! So I made a tag with black card and masked a thin edge with some low tack tape, and splodged on yellow hansa, diarylide yellow, permanent red and white pan pastels, lightly blended, then stamped with versamark, using two Kanban stamp that came as a set with an elegant ladies head, sprayed with some very cheap hairspray, added 3 black gems, punched a hole added a gold star shaped eyelet and some orangey yellow ribbon and viola. Was an experiment but think it came out ok? What ya think?
Xmas card, 8x8 scalloped edge white card base, I used paper from the Holly jolly 12x12 paper set, I used the reverse side to make the poinsettia's, spellbinders die, used two ribbons to make a bow and added a button and two hat pins, a bit of bling by way of swirly black gems, and a white glittery peel off, I don't like using peel offs but sometimes they are just the job. Thank you for taking the time to look. Xxx

Again 5x5 cream base card scored two lines, low tack taped either side of score and blended Hansa yellow, Diarylide yellow, Permanent red and Orange shade pan pastels, sealed with some cheap hairspray and stamped with a Kanban flower stamp, the main image and sentiment are wood mounted stamps I've had for ages, the little butterfly is from a Marion Emerson set, all stamped with black stazon, added three black pearls and voila, simples ;) thank you for looking xxx

Your special

Evening lovelies! Well I had ideas to do more Xmas cards but my Xmas mojo has gone! So thought I'd have a play. I used K & Company Speciality paper which I covered with double sided adhesive sheet, I cut with the largest grande spellbinder nestie, then dipped it in micro beads, the bottom picture shows this up close, it gives it an ethereal look I think! Mounted onto 8x8 scalloped edge white card base, using white card I cut all 6 grande flowers and the 3 leaves plus Sue Wilsons design lattice dies, inked them all with Juniper Adirondack, added some old fabric Laura Ashley brads I've had knocking around for years, sentiment in dark grey stazon, then finished with pearly dots around the bottom right corner, hope you like it? Thank you for spending the time to look, would love your comments. Xxx :)

Happy fathers day

Hi guys! Here is a very quick and simple card, using Portobello Road papers, I created a frame with my trusty nesties, heat embossed the sentiment, its 6x6 craft card base. I know it's pretty naff really but I wanted to blog every day. I also have to explain about the blanked out face, this card is for my little foster girls dad! Yes I make them cards from her, that's why it's so simple, anyway I can't show her face electronically! Shame she's a beautiful little girl. Not sure it's worthy of a comment? But you can if you want, be honest. Thank you my lovelies xxx :)

Pink Daisy's

Hi everyone! Out last night and awake early, thought I'd blog before little one gets up. I am entering this into the Cards Galore Challenge, colour inspirations.
Now I have to admit, I copied this design from the wonderful Sue Wilson, I've used different colours, but the composition is the same near enough. 8x8 scalloped edge card base, embossed white card with spellbinder daisy design m-bossibilities, only just realised I'd been spelling that wrong lol and inked edges with pink lemonade adirondack ink, also pierced around the edge on the base card, cut 6 of the Daisy's and leaves and the label all from the same set of spellbinders, their the ones that come with a rose also, I inked mine with pink lemonade, wild plum and raspberry adirondack inks and the leaves with lettuce. Hope you like it and thank you for looking xxx
